Masahiro Distillery was founded in 1883 by Shobun Higa. His father – Shozoku Higa (the master chef for Ryuku Kingdom) had an established reputation in Ryuku Kingdom and he was awarded with the license for Awamori production (Okinawa’s spirits). Shozoku’s passion for cuisines is still alive and Masahiro Distillery is famous for its production techniques, prominent qualities, and passion for innovation over 130 years. It is also the first distillery that produces the first gin in Okinawa region, Masahiro gin.

Nose: the sweet scent of caramel is accompanied by the note of vanilla and licorice. Oak barrel brings out woody and spice notes.
Palate: caramel sweetness developing into notes of fresh vanilla with hints of tannin from oak barrels. Finish: smooth, rounded and sweet, with woody notes, pepper and other spices.
